I started taking photographs with a Nikon Nikomat EL bought in Tokyo and lots of Fuji film that highlighted the browns and greens. I spent years using Kodachrome slides photographing architecture to document buildings, architects and details I admired and landscapes I couldn't resist. I have been using a variety of digital cameras, especially the Nikon D40 and phones for ten years. I gave that honored EL to a graphic designer friend who was lusting after it about five years ago and I hope it is still having a productive existence. The slides that are posted here are without any Photoshopping - and in most cases without dusting, either. I have Photoshopped some of the digital photos and will be adding descriptions as I can.
